Magaluf on the west side of the Bay of Palma is a clubland/nightlife mecca resort in Majorca, with a real tongue in cheek character. Both Magaluf and Palma Nova evolved out of the post 1960s tourist boom, and today they really are on the list of top youth clubbing holiday nightlife destinations. Both are very good value for money vacation package holiday destinations. Extremely British, with Brit Bars all along the coastline here so yep it's like a home from home with the heat! And there's a real 'tongue in cheek' friendly feel to both Magaluf and Palma Nova, two Majorca resorts which kind of blend into one. There all here, Eastenders Bar, the Prince William Pub and the big clubs like BCM Magaluf. They kind of laugh at themselves these resorts, and they're friendly with it. Many miss the joke,

Eating out is easy in Magaluf, with cheap being the key word, and meals only setting you back about £12. Many of the bars serve snacks American style, and these bars stay open til 7am in the morning. All your recognisable favourites are there as well for quick grabs, including Macdonalds and Burger King. You can find a good range here though, contrary to perceptions there's a good mix of Spanish and English traditional food.Magaluf means party time, bars and clubs open all night - you can literally dance the night away, fun times, sunbathing and water sports, people watching and a superb range of entertainment including Western Waterpark, the rather unusual but popular Pirates show, and paintballing and go-karting to name a few!

Magaluf Beaches

Magaluf Beaches, is the superb stretch of sandy beaches along this west coast of Palma Bay. Lots of bars, lots of clubs, lots of watersports sitting a-top of a giant bananna and so forth, plus waterparks, go-karting, mini golf, Macdonalds, Burger King, larger and cocktails on tap 24/7. Other water sports in abundance include paracending, doughnuting, Kite Surfing and jet skiing. Sound like your idea of heaven, is for many. Palma Nova and Magaluf are becoming increasingly popular with long-weekenders and stag and hen parties, with only an hours transfer time from the airport, or just 15 minutes by taxi, plus a short flight of just over two hours and lots of cheap deals. Well worth considering as a short break, it makes sense to choose Magaluf.

Magaluf

Magaluf doesn't disappoint in the water park department. Waterparks are rather big business, and perfect entertainment for families, groups, couples and everyone with a bit of the kid in them. Check out Aquapark Magaluf, a waterpark which offers a whole range of water rides, big and small, for tots and for urr the brave. There's a new ride here called Tornado, aptly named as you're powered by water through a circular tube, the idea being your move like a tornado. There's the Enchanted Castle shallow pool area for the tots - they'll love it. There's a mini pool as well for the younger ones, with little slides, mushroom umbrellas and giant frogs to climb. Of the big rides choose from Boomerang where you get catapulted down one almost vertical waterslide slope in a two person dingy ring, then thrown up another opposite, urr like doing a giant V. At least you can do this one with a friend or partner. Hurtle down the Kamikaze slide and god knows how many miles an hour, have a race with your mates on the multi-lane slide or surf the upto 1 metre high waves on surf beach. The park itself is a very good size, and well equipped with ample parking facilities, toilets and lots of food outlets and a cafeteria area..

Magaluf

For those wanting an action packed holiday with dancing till dawn and water sports during the day, this is a perfect location as the area is much more suited to this than to lazy days on the beach. Nightlife is centred around the Punta Ballena strip and you can buy a Magaluf club pass for around 180 euros 7 nights access to all 5 MCP clubs, including 7 nights inclusive bar and access to all MCP events of the main clubs in the area. Food is available in many guises here in Malaga, from fast food outlets to restaurants serving the traditional fayre of many different nations from Spanish and English to Chinese and Indian. Food isn't expensive either generally, so you can really go to town on eating out when here without emptying your pockets – an average traditional Spanish meal might cost you around 12 euros. During the day, sports of all sorts are the name of the game, with go-kart racing, horseback riding, golf, scuba diving, jet skiing and wind surfing being but a few of the options available. Popular with swimmers is the challenge to swim to Black Lizard Island (Isla de sa Porrassa) which is in the centre of Magaluf bay. The island is known by this name because of the many black lizards that can be seen sunning themselves on the rocks there. The longest route from the shore of the bay is from the southern end of the beach to the island, and is about 800 metres. Just a ten minute walk away from Magaluf is the Western Water Park which is probably the favourite water park in Mallorca and is certainly the only western themed one that the island boasts. It has a variety of rides available, from La Bestia (The Beast), a thirty metre water drop, to Olivers Water Show where you can see water acrobats showing off, there are water slides of all different sizes and types, and basically there is something.
